It actually breaks my heart that y'all can't view this one (or the last 4 now) in it's actual format... I should figure it out. Anyway... A world of meaning is lost if you can't read between the lines, literally and figuratively... So, again, if anyone wants to see the actual format just let me know. I'm happy to pass it along.

Weighting

I walk the thin line
between madness
and sanity
I am only one woman
But what a Woman I am
I bear the weight
For a wanted world

Desire

Too few
Ever understand
Conviction
The convicted
The afflicted

I am the young bride of a madman
He shamelessly exiles himself from this world
And I patiently await his return
I bear the weight
The wait
Awaiting his clemency
My strength sustained
Through memory
Memories
They masquerade reality
His madness
In my mind
Dances cheek-to-cheek
With the anguish I laid to rest
The very day I began thinking for two

Selfishly selfless for the selfish

The maddened can only feel misunderstood
But within you
I am still without you
For your sense of self

We are both seeking
