Some hidden desire
That will only lead to:

Traces of bathtub
Molest my memory
Reality is:
The drain is stuck shut
Drowning out any Trace
Washing away my residue

The release is not as sweet as you believe it to be
Words were once my selling point
But the market dried up
And the stock you held
Began to drop
The crash was inevitable

I must admit
The impact:
Rocked my synapses
Igniting some unlit memoriam
Deep
Deep
Deep
Within me:
Like you

So it is with regret that I say
We appreciate the enquiry
But currently have no room
No vacancy
No openings
No time

But the want
Remains
Sewn into my skin
Into my lips
Into my memory
Into my mind
