Blue

I dove in...
       deep end
Feet first
Now...
       I'm drowning
In over my head
My lungs
Filled with something
    Foreign
    Unfamiliar
    Diluted
Depleting my ability
   To breathe
   To think
   To stay still
I'm collapsing from the inside out
My body
Surrounded
  but alone
I'm numb
Somewhere between a state of frozen and inferno
I stop flailing
Inhale
One last ounce
